About Jim
Jim wants his clients to live life richly, not to die rich. To do so he uses a unique process called The Guardrails Formula. It is the concept of living between two financial guardrails: One guardrail represents spending too freely or not saving enough before retirement, causing one to run out of money before death. The other guardrail represents a lifestyle that could have been afforded, yet passing away with a lot of unspent money. The solution Jim uses to solve the problem is an advanced software program that enables him to make sure his clients stay between those two guardrails throughout the retirement years.
Jim provides his clients with the option of Values-Based portfolios which are managed by proven money managers. The managers focus on companies that benefit humanity and exclude industries that do harm to humanity.

Jim's experience
James B Stark has over 42 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation, and for 22 years has held the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation and holds the FINRA Series 6 and Series 66 registrations. Jim is licensed to sell insurance in NJ, NY, PA, MD, NC, SC, and FL.
Jim was a trustee of the Swartswood Lakes and Watershed Association and has served as President and Secretary. He served at the Evangelical Free Church of Blairstown as a Deacon, choir and worship team member, sound technician, Church Chairman, Trustee, Boys Brigade Leader and Sunday school teacher. For 24 years he served as the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Children's Wish Fulfillment Foundation in Dahlonega, GA.
Outside the office, Jim enjoys playing his tuba, various winter sports, wing foiling and kiteboarding. He also enjoys home improvement projects, long distance running, brewing wine, biking and photography. He has been married to his wife, Michelle, for 31 years, and they have one grown son and four grown cats.
